Brown Walks Away from 56G Crash at Pukekohe đŸ˜³

Will Brown has walked away from a monster crash at Pukekohe Park Raceway in the final Supercars event at the New Zealand track.

Race 27 - P19

Brown got a ripper start from P22 in Saturday’s race and managed to avoid a fair bit of action in the opening lap.

Once the field settled into a rhythm he had moved up 5 places to P17.

Brown stopped on lap 13 for his rear rubber and quickly returned to the field after another quick stop by the team.

The Safety Car was deployed with 10 laps to go, bunching the field up for the final run home.

Brown took the opportunity to pit, taking left-side tyres and re-joining in P20 before race went green, moving up one spot to finish P19.

Race 28 - DNF

On the opening Lap for Sunday’s first Race Brown was bumped off the road and into the pit entry barriers after contact with Mark Winterbottom.

Brown collided with the concrete pit entry walls and recorded a 56G side impact, such was the impact, that the concrete barriers were dislodged.

Luckily, Brown was cleared by the medical centre to return to the garage and was only winded.

Race 29 - DNS

As a result of the extensive damage to the #9 Boost Mobile Racing Car, Brown was unable to start the final race.
