Brown 10th at Bathurst ⛰

Will Brown has finished P10 at the 2022 running of the iconic Bathurst 1000 Race.

Race 30 - P10

Brown qualified 10th on Saturday at Mount Panorama after an incredible effort by the crew to repair the #9 Commodore after a crash in the earlier practice session, which saw the team working to the final second to make qualifying.

Unfortunately the Top Ten Shootout was cancelled due to torrential rain and Brown didn’t get an opportunity to improve his position and began the great race on the fifth row.

With all co-drivers starting the race, it was a fairly chaotic start with the Safety Car deployed six times in the first 57 laps, the first of which was on the opening lap between Turns 1 and 2, when Perkins was spun in front of the field.

Perkins limped back to the pits and gained his lap back during the second Safety Car on lap 5, when all hell broke loose at the Chase.

Throughout the 161 lap race Brown & Perkins were able to move back up the field onto the lead lap and finish P10.

Brown will return to the track in just over two weeks for the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500, 28 - 30 October.
