Struggle Street at the 'Ville 😩

Will Brown has endured a tough weekend in Townsville which was highlighted by a P11 finish on Saturday.

Race 19 - P11

Brown qualified P18 on Saturday and like the majority of the field, began the 88-lap race on hard tyres.

Brown had a great start and drove well throughout the opening two stints on the hard tyres before taking on the Super Soft tyre for the final laps.

Sitting in P15, Brown pushed his way up the order to finish just outside the top ten in P11 at the conclusion of the race.

Race 20 - P19

On the right-hand side of the grid, Brodie and Will got away well from P13 and P15 respectively.

Brown did his best to avoid a Lap 1 clash but dropped back to P17 in doing his best to keep his Holden on the road.

Brown battled in the mid-pack for the first two stints on the hard tyres and settled into a rhythm before swapping to the super-soft rubber for the 30-odd lap run home.

When the field cleansed for the final time, Brown sat P15 but dropped to P19, lacking car pace with the Super Soft tyre.

The Erebus Motorsport team will now head back to headquarters, with an intense focus on fine-tuning their cars ahead of the next round at Tailem Bend.
