Will Brown started the season in spectacular fashion, finishing P7 & P8 in the Sydney SuperNight opener.

Starting from 5th on the grid, Will got off to a flying start and went around the row in front to slot into 3rd before the first corner.

Will on the went for a two-stop pit strategy, when the field finally settled for the final stint, Will was speedy and looking primed for a podium position with 20 laps to go.

The #9 Commodore ragged it around the Western-Sydney circuit, using all his tyres in the process.  Will hold on for as long as he could though unfortunately fell down the order before the finish line.

Starting from P23 in Sunday’s Race after a tough qualifying, Will wasted no time picking off the cars in front and wrangled his tyres around Sydney Motorsport Park, fighting his way into the Top 10 by lap 5.

Rain wreaked havoc on lap 62 and saw the field scramble for pit lane, stopping for wet tyres for the final sprint home. The Safety Car made a third and final appearance and bunched the field back up for a wild sprint to the finish line.

At the end of the 300km race, Will had moved up 15 spots to sit P8 at the checkered flag.Â
